Find NDIS and aged care providers near you

SolDirectory helps participants, families and support coordinators search provider profiles by support and location. You can browse directly or submit one free enquiry so relevant member providers can assess the support, funding arrangement, area and preferred timeframe.

Search in the way that suits you

Start with the provider directory when you know the support or suburb. Browse the service guides to understand common options and questions, use location pages to search nearby areas, or explore providers by condition and support need. Funding guides explain common NDIS, aged care, DVA and private arrangements.

Member profiles and public registers are different

SolDirectory member providers maintain profiles with their supports, service areas, funding arrangements and intake status. They are asked to reconfirm capacity regularly. The separate NDIS provider register and aged care provider register pages reproduce public register information for reference. A register record does not show present capacity and is not an endorsement.

Compare before choosing

Ask who will deliver the support, what relevant experience and qualifications they hold, when services can begin and how continuity is managed. Confirm registration, worker screening, insurance and any person-specific training directly. Request complete rates, travel, cancellation, reporting and exit terms in writing before support begins.

How provider enquiries work

One enquiry records the requested support, location, funding and timing. Matching identifies member providers whose profile appears relevant; it does not rank quality or guarantee a response. Providers may contact the person who submitted the request, and that person decides whether to continue, compare alternatives or decline. SolDirectory does not deliver care or choose a provider.

For more preparation help, read the provider selection guide, learn about NDIS plan management, or review the support coordinator referral guide.

What SolDirectory is

SolDirectory is an independent directory and enquiry service for people looking for disability and aged care support in Australia. You can search provider profiles by support and place, look at who is listed on the public NDIS and My Aged Care registers, or send one request that suitable providers can respond to.

It is not a government service. It does not make decisions about anyone’s plan, funding or eligibility, and a listing in the directory is not an endorsement of a provider.

How it works

  • Tell us what support you need and where. A short request is enough, and it is free to send.
  • Providers whose service areas, funding types and confirmed capacity fit the request can review it and respond through SolDirectory.
  • You compare the responses and decide whether to go ahead. You are never obliged to use a provider that replies.

Who it is for

  • Participants, families and carers comparing providers for NDIS or aged care support. Find a provider
  • Support coordinators and plan managers who need to find who is working in an area. For support coordinators
  • Providers who want relevant enquiries from people in their service areas. List your business
  • Independent support workers who want a professional profile eligible organisations can find. Independent workers

Reading that helps you decide

Our guides explain how funding, pricing, registration and rights work, written from the official pages and checked against them. They are general information rather than advice about a particular plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free to use SolDirectory?

Searching is free, and so is sending a request for matched providers. Families, participants and coordinators are not charged to search or to send an enquiry.

Does a provider on SolDirectory have capacity for me?

Not necessarily. A register listing shows what the public register says, not who is taking new people. Member providers confirm each week whether they are taking referrals, and Get matched sends your request to members whose areas and capacity fit.

Is SolDirectory part of the NDIS or My Aged Care?

No. SolDirectory is an independent directory. For decisions about a plan, funding or eligibility, contact the NDIA, My Aged Care or your plan manager or support coordinator.

Where does the register information come from?

From the public NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission provider register and the My Aged Care register, imported at a point in time. It can lag behind the live registers, so confirm details with the provider and the official register.

Can I trust the guides?

Each guide names the official page it is based on, shows when that page was last checked, and says what to confirm for your own plan. Our editorial standards page explains how they are written.
