Your rights when you use SolDirectory

When you use SolDirectory, you have the right to:

  • Choose. Decide which providers or workers you speak to, if any. You’re never obliged to use anyone who contacts you.
  • Control your information. Decide what you share. Only share what a provider needs to know to see if they can help.
  • Know who has your details. See which providers viewed your contact details, in your request tracker.
  • Change your mind. Close your request at any time. Providers who haven’t viewed your details won’t be able to.
  • Be forgotten. Ask us to delete your information.
  • Be treated with dignity and respect by us and by providers you meet through SolDirectory, free from pressure, discrimination or abuse.
  • Get honest information. Know how matching works, how we make money, and who owns SolDirectory.
  • Have someone support you. Ask a family member, carer, advocate or nominee to act for you or with you.
  • Ask for a person. Ask us for a person to review how your request was matched.
  • Complain safely. Make a complaint to us or an external body without it affecting how you’re treated.
  • Communicate your way. Use an interpreter (TIS National, 131 450), the National Relay Service (133 677), or ask us for information in another format.

Your rights under the NDIS, aged care law and consumer law aren’t affected by using SolDirectory.
