How results are ordered and requests are matched
9.1 Two kinds of listing
- Member profiles: providers who have joined SolDirectory, verified their business, and keep their profile up to date. Members confirm weekly whether they’re taking new people.
- Register listings: organisations shown as they appear on the public NDIS Provider Register or My Aged Care. They haven’t joined SolDirectory, and we can’t tell you whether they have capacity.
9.2 How search results are ordered
- Only listings that match your search (support, location and any filters you choose) are shown.
- Member profiles that confirmed capacity in your area this week appear first, labelled “Taking new people”, ordered by distance from your suburb.
- Other member profiles come next, ordered by distance.
- Register listings are shown in a separate section, ordered by distance, and never carry a capacity label.
9.3 How requests are matched
A provider receives a brief of your request only if all of these are true:
- it delivers the support you need
- your suburb is in its service area
- it accepts your funding type
- it has confirmed this week that it’s taking new people in your area
- its profile isn’t paused
- if your NDIS plan is NDIA-managed, it’s registered for that support
From all providers who qualify, up to 10 are notified, chosen by distance and then rotated fairly so the same providers aren’t always first. Up to 3 can then view your contact details.
9.4 What paying does and doesn’t change
Providers on our paid Connect plan can view the contact details of requesters. Paying never changes whether a provider is matched, the order of search results, or any label shown. We don’t sell sponsored positions, featured listings or paid reviews.
9.5 Related businesses
Our director also owns WeCare Disability Services, a registered NDIS provider. WeCare’s listing is labelled “Related business”. It follows exactly the same rules as every other provider, is never given priority, and is never added to a request by hand.
9.6 What labels mean

| Taking new people | The provider confirmed capacity in this area this week |
| Checks sighted | Our staff have seen evidence of the worker’s declared checks on the date shown |
| Related business | Owned by a related party of SolDirectory |
None of these labels is an endorsement or a rating of quality.
